Training For Trainers
Training for Conflict Resolution Trainers and Teachers
Trainers: Alison Beck
Date: TBD
Fee: TBD
As mediation, negotiation, collaborative practice and other forms of consensual resolution gain acceptance and use, there is a major need for qualified teachers and trainers. Currently, mediators share their experience and insights at conferences, webinars, and offer their own training. However, as any credentialed teacher can attest, cutting edge training for teachers requires the concepts and pedagogical tools of adult learning theory, building useful and sequential curriculum, preparing engaging visual and interactive presentations, and building in useful self-evaluation.
Mosten Guthrie Academy offers beginning and advanced courses to help mediators and other providers gain the knowledge and skills to help them add training to their careers and supplement their income. All of these courses are online and are available to individuals and organizations. For more information, contact Alison Beck, MGA Training Director alison@mostenguthrie.com.
